About Mio
Hair has been her thing since she was a kid
Mio started doing hair at 18 and turned what had already been a lifelong obsession into her own salon. Braiding, colouring, cutting — it was never a job she fell into, it's the thing she has always wanted to do.
She works one client at a time and pays attention. You'll get asked about your routine, what you actually do with your hair at home, and what you've had done before — because that changes what she can safely do today. If a colour will damage your hair, she'll tell you and suggest a way to get there properly.
She keeps learning: new techniques, new products, better ways of doing things. The clients who keep coming back mostly come back for the same two reasons — their hair stays healthy, and it feels easy to sit in her chair.
Mio Hair & Beauty Salon is a unisex salon built around top-tier, vegan products and care tailored to your hair. It is a proudly Black- and woman-owned business, and everyone is welcome in the chair.

Cancellations
Please cancel or move your appointment at least 24 hours in advance so the time can go to someone else.
For cancellations made less than 24 hours ahead, or a no-show without notice, a payment is required before a new appointment can be booked. That amount is deducted from your service total on the day.
Clients who cancel repeatedly may be asked to pay in advance for future reservations.
